TERMS OF REFERENCE - OIC KINLOSS GOLF SOCIETY

1. The OIC KGS is responsible to the Station Commander for the organisation and conduct of the KGS.

2. The OIC is responsible for the maintenance and safe custody of financial and other records. He may delegate the task of maintaining records to a member of KGS not below NCO rank.

3. The OIC is to issue a constitution for the KGS and Terms of reference for Committee Members on behalf of the Station Commander.

4. The OIC is to ensure that the proceedings of each meeting, General or Committee, are recorded in a Minute Book and submitted promptly to the Station Commander through the President Service Institute (PSI).

5. The OIC is to publicise, promote and foster the game of golf.

6. The OIC is to ensure that fixture lists are arranged and that the KGS enters for local, Command and RAF competitions.

7. The OIC is to appoint a Deputy.

8. The OIC is to submit claims for Sports Grants to PSI.

9. The OIC is to attend the RAF Association AGM and liase with Command representatives.

10. The OIC is appointed to the Club Council of Forres Golf Club and to the Management Committee or its successor of Forres Golf Course (Muiryshade), to represent RAF Kinloss and the KGS. He is to attend meetings of those committees and any subsidiary committees to which he may be appointed.
